La nueva reflex de Canon, la EOS 7D, trae caracteristicas interesantes, dejando de lado la resolución que es de 18 megapixeles, podemos encontrar que puede controlar grupos de flashes desde la misma camara, sin necesidad de un transmisor externo como ocurria con todas la camaras reflex de canon hasta ahora, claro que habra que tener algun flash de Canon para ello.
La segunda caracteristica que es de utilidad, es la posibilidad de grabar video desde ella, y con entrada para microfono externo, pues puede ser de mucha utilidad, aunque a muchos no les atraiga la posibilidad de grabar video, en algun momento se puede utilizar.
El cuerpo de esta camara es completamente sellado, para aguantar las inclemencias del tiempo (inspirado en la Canon EOS 1n, quien dijo que las analogicas estaban muertas), y con un factor de recorte 1.6x, creo que los que usamos camaras con formato aps-c, tenemos aún para rato con nuestros objetivos. Cambios en el sistema de medicion y con mas puntos de enfoque, se parece mas a las camaras de la serie 1 de Canon, lo que puede hacerla una camara muy atractiva, ademas de tener una cobertura en el visor de 100% y una magnificación de 1x, sera una camara para tener en cuenta en los proximos meses.
Esta camara es el rival directo de la Nikon D300s, y compartira su nicho de mercado. Personalmente hubiera querido que la EOS 7D, tuviera una resolución mucho menor, es decir como la de la Nikon que es de 12.3 megapixeles, que es justo lo que la mayoria de fotografos necesitamos, debido a que mientras mas megapixeles tienen los sensores mas exigentes son con los objetivos, ademas la posibilidad de que a isos mas altos se presente mas ruido. Ya veremos en los proximos meses el desempeño de esta cámara, para decidirnos (digo los que somos canoneros) a poder invertir en una de estas.
